So while annoyed Jules brought his egg over to Maury's the man was already taking care of a friend's egg. He didn't expect an annoyed trainer to bring Shishi (oops he was gone?!), and an...egg. 
"Now it's your problem."
And so Maury was taking care of two eggs. His Riolu Liam enjoyed it quite a bit, whereas Bajie is just done so he decided to nap with the egg. It's just too much work for him.
